Euro Auctions is a world leading auctioneer of industrial, plant, construction & agricultural equipment. With sites in UK, Germany, Spain, Australia, Abu Dhabi & USA Euro Auctions conducts 60+ auctions every year.

We are looking for an experienced Workshop & Wash Bay Coordinator to join our busy team at the Kellington/Eggborough site. In this position, you will be required to support the current Workshop and Wash Bay manager. No two days are the same and we are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty when needed.

The Job

  • Create and maintain service schedule for all yard machinery.
  • Ensure all yard and workshop equipment have a valid testing certificate and scheduled the timely completion of any renewals to ensure no downtime.
  • Manage the replenishment of consumables for the workshop.
  • Order parts
  • Complete administrative tasks as required.
  • Complete new staff inductions and work with the Health and Safety Officer to schedule training as required.

The Person

You will be required to work both indoors and outdoors in all weathers as well as being physically fit to climb on and off machinery. If you knowledge of heavy plant/mining/quarry equipment, then we especially want to hear from you.

The Requirements

  • We are looking for motivated, highly organised person who takes pride in their work and are not adverse to a hard day's graft.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to take instruction as well as work on own initiative and follow Health & Safety legislation.
  • Willingness to work regular overtime during busy auction periods (including weekends)
  • Prior experience operating and knowledge of all types of heavy equipment.
  • Strong English skills.
