Job Description

Euro Auctions is a world leading auctioneer of industrial, plant, construction & agricultural equipment. With sites in UK, Germany, Spain, Australia, USA and Abu Dhabi, Euro Auctions conducts 50+ auctions selling thousands of Lots every year.

We currently require experienced forklift/telehandler drivers to assist in preparation of the yard prior to the sale, and movement of machinery during the auction. 

The Job

  • Assist in yard operations to ensure the smooth running of all auctions.
  • Safe movement of equipment and machinery in the auction yard.
  • Precise loading and unloading activities.
  • Assisting with stock checks.
  • Participating in other yard duties.

The Person

Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to work both indoors and outdoors year-round and be physically fit to climb on and off large equipment.

The Requirements

Telescopic Fork Lift license is essential.

  • Ideally you should be an experienced forklift/telehandler driver with a sound knowledge of a busy yard or site – however on the job training will be provided.
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English.
  • This is a physically demanding, all-weathers role; all applicants must be in good health.
  • Ability to take instruction as well as working independently on own initiative and follow Health and Safety legislation.
  • Prior experience operating and knowledge of all types of heavy equipment and trucks is desirable.
