Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Reporting To: Marketing Manager

Location: Dromore, Co. Tyrone.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3:45pm.

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, USA and Canada. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for the design and creation of company collateral, managing marketing campaigns and evaluation and report writing. A large portion of this role is Graphic Design.

Key Activities:

  • Assist with all current and future global, regional and local strategic marketing plans and campaigns, to help drive business, grow the international customer base and increase traffic, whilst measuring and reporting in the success of campaigns using various analytical techniques
  • Database management including segmentation and remarketing
  • Working to design briefs agreed with Management you will design and create various forms of print from auction brochures to leaflets, letterheads, print advertisements, digital advertisements, website design elements and bringing the company’s identity to life.
  • Devise, translate and deliver successful innovative digital marketing solutions, both online and print, using all social media and new emerging media applications
  • The work will demand a creative flair with up-to-date knowledge of packages such as Adobe Indesign and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • You must have a professional approach to costs, deadlines and time.

The Person:

This role requires an organised individual with excellent attention to detail and the commercial and technical ability to advertise and promote the company through a wide range of digital, print and emerging media applications.

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • 3rd Level Degree or equivalent in relevant discipline (Marketing/International Business/Communications).
  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 years' experience of both print and digital media.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of graphic and web design packages, preferably InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop,
  • Knowledge and experience of managing advertising campaigns and evaluation tools, SEO techniques, email marketing software, website content management systems and entire Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail, producing accurate and high-quality work.
  • Ability to work to tight and overlapping deadlines, in a pressurised environment.
