Euro Auctions is a world leading, global auctioneer of industrial plant, construction & agricultural equipment. With 9 sites located in the UK, Germany, Spain, Australia, Abu Dhabi & USA. Euro Auctions conducts 50+ auctions selling thousands of Lots every year.

The Job

  • Provide administrative support to the current team raising and processing transport orders.
  • Research and plan new routes to existing destinations.
  • Source new suppliers globally ensuring routes and schedules used are efficient and cost effective.
  • Renegotiate terms with existing suppliers to ensure Euro Auctions remains competitive.
  • Candidates with French, Spanish or German are especially welcome to apply.

The Person

The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced office environment and be capable of taking control of all administration involved in running an auction. This is not a typical office job; no two days will be the same.

While these opportunities are initially aimed at third year placement students, they are also open to fresh graduates eager to gain valuable international business experience.

The Requirements

  • Be studying towards a third level discipline preferably in Logistics (other disciplines will be considered)
  • Ability to work fulltime for 12-15 months.
  • Show proficiency in entire MS Office suite especially Excel.
  • Sound geographical knowledge.
  • Ability to report and summarise.
  • Excellent forward planning skills with the ability to problem solve in pressured situations.

  • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to work extra hours during busy auction periods.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Have a desire to exceed expectations.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and experience working to tight deadlines.

Closing date for all applications is the 19th January 2025, after which those selected will be invited to an assessment evening on the last week of January.
