Job Description

Euro Auctions is a world leading auctioneer of industrial, plant, construction & agricultural equipment. With sites in UK, Germany, Spain, Australia, USA and Abu Dhabi, Euro Auctions conducts 50+ auctions selling thousands of Lots every year.

We currently require an experienced forklift and general yard operatives to assist in preparation of the yard prior to the sale, and movement of machinery during the auction at our headquarters in Dromore, Co. Tyrone.

The Job

  • Assist in yard operations to ensure the smooth running of all auctions.
  • Safe movement of equipment and machinery in the auction yard.
  • Precise loading and unloading activities.
  • Assisting with stock checks.
  • Participating in other yard duties.

The Person

  • Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to work both indoors and outdoors year-round and be physically fit to climb on and off large equipment.

The Requirements

  • Fork Lift license is essential.
  • Ideally you should be an experienced forklift driver with a sound knowledge of a busy yard or site.
  • Good communication skills.
  • This is a physically demanding all-weathers role, therefore applicants should be of good health and physically fit.
  • Ability to take instruction as well as working independently on own initiative and follow Health and Safety legislation.
  • Prior experience operating and knowledge of all types of heavy equipment and trucks is desirable.
  • Mechanical experience is a definite asset.
  • Flexible and available to work extra hours at short notice during busy auction periods.
