Job Title: Apprentice Fitters Mate

Reporting To: Lead Plant Fitter

Location: Roall Lane, Kellington, Nr. Goole. DN14 0NY

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm & pre auction weekend.

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US, and Canada. Key Activities:

• Follow instruction from Plant Fitters and Workshop Manager.
• To carry out inspections on plant & equipment under supervision.
• Provide hands-on support to fitters for maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.

The Person:

We highly value strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities for this role, given the fast-paced and dynamic nature of our workshop environment. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, possess a sound mechanical understanding, and be physically fit.

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

• Valid Driving Licence.
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English.
• Understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Previous experience working with heavy machinery or in a mechanical role.

Desirable Criteria:

• Level 2 Diploma in Plant Maintenance.
• Completing an Apprenticeship programme.
