Accounts Assistant - Dromore - Permanent - Full Time

Euro Auctions is a world leading auctioneer of industrial, plant, construction & agricultural equipment. With sites in UK, Germany, Spain, Australia, USA and Dubai, Euro Auctions conducts 50+ auctions selling thousands of Lots every year.

Continued growth within the company has led to further opportunities within our Accounts Department. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this position requires a highly motivated individual with commercial and financial experience. This role will be based at the company's headquarters in Dromore, Co. Tyrone.

The Job

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts, VAT returns and all year end activities.
• General accounting duties including sales & purchase ledger, multi-currency bank reconciliations, credit control and stock management.
• Foreign Exchange.
• Management of all inter-company balances and reconciliations of the same.

The Person

This role will require a motivated individual with impeccable judgement and an innate ability to problem solve. Operating globally across 3 continents requires flexible individuals with the ability to work to high standards in a fast-passed environment.

The Requirements

• Part qualified Accountant or 2 years’ experience in a similar industry role.
• Proficient in Sage Line 50/Sage 200/Sage MMS and Excel.
• Working knowledge of accounting in a multi-currently environment.
• Excellent communicator with strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work to strict deadlines with limited supervision.
• Detail orientated individual with the ability to work flexibly in a fast paced environment.
