Bidders who are unable attend the auction or bid online have the option of using the Euro Auctions Absentee Bidding service.
To place an Absentee Bid you must be registered and assigned a Bidder Number. Usual
registration and deposit requirements will apply.
Once registered, an
Absentee Bid Form must be completed and returned to the Administration Department in advance of the Lot being sold.
The Absentee Bid Form requires Bidders to stipulate the desired Lots and the maximum price to be bid on each Lot. Bidders must also state their preference on Choice Lots.
By placing an Absentee Bid you consent to a Euro Auctions Representative bidding on your behalf up to the maximum amount specified by you.
Absentee Bidders should note that their maximum bid will not be the initial opening bid. Rather the Auctioneer will start the bidding as normal and bidding will increase in regular increments with the Euro Auctions Representative bidding until the maximum Absentee Bid has been outbid or the Absentee Bidder is successful. Absentee Bidders may be successful without reaching their maximum bid.
Euro Auctions will only contact the Absentee Bidder where their Bid has been successful.
