Euro Auctions launches new permanent auction site in Valencia, Spain

Euro Auctions, the UK’s largest auctioneers of heavy plant and construction equipment is pleased to announce the opening of a new permanent sale site in Valencia, Spain from which Euro Auctions will conduct regular auctions.

As part of the overall European expansion plans of Euro Auctions, this new site has been strategically selected to better support loyal customers in southern Europe and its acquisition has been driven by demand from regular consignors. In addition, the location of the new site will act as a distribution platform for the currently booming markets of northern Africa and the Middle East.

The new Euro Auctions auction site extends to 3.2 Hectares (8 Acres) and is situated in the in the Riba-roja de Turia district of Valencia, offering easy access to the main dock areas for loading and shipping. The Valencia site will be run and managed by Euro Auctions new Territory Manager in Spain, Paolo Alecci.

The first heavy plant and construction equipment sale at the new Valencia site will take place on Friday 10th December 2010. The stock for this first auction will number approximately 800 lots, which will include excavators, dumpers, loaders, telehandlers and a large consignment of surplus stock from a leading European rental company.

A full schedule of auction dates are planned for 2011 which can be viewed in the Euro Auctions European auction schedule at

Jonnie Keys, General Manager of Euro Auctions comments:

“Euro Auctions always aspired to establish a facility in Spain following the continued demand from our loyal customer base. Now with the arrival of the Valencia site we are strategically positioned to support the currently buoyant markets of North Africa, south Eastern Europe and the Middle East which seem to be ignoring the current global economic trends”.

Euro Auctions expansion into Spain will create 7 new positions in the company. Euro Auctions anticipate a further increase in staff numbers to manage the new auction site in early 2011 as Euro Auctions Valencia becomes a regular fixture in the global plant sale calendar.
