Prices ‘on the up’ at Dormagen Auction
Over 350 registered bidders from 30 countries participated at last week’s Euro Auctions sale in Dormagen, Germany. Over 1000 Lots went under the hammer during the 2-day sale and 20% of equipment was sold to online bidders. German bidders had the highest online total, followed by the Netherlands and the UK.
Prices at the auction were strong according to Euro Auctions Jonnie Keys “Prices in general had increased from 2009 proving that 2010 is off to a good start. We had a 13% increase in the overall auction total since our November 2009 auction in Dormagen. At this auction we had buyers from Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as well as most countries in Europe. We are very pleased with the results of our first German sale of the year.”
